Boy, do I have an fun and snazzy post today regarding an impressive production coming to DC’s National Theatre next month – Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake presented by the St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre! The ballet features prima ballerina Irina Kolesnikova, who is making her long-anticipated US debut. This production will be touring around the United States for the first time, and I think it’s pretty telling that DC is included in this tour and that the National Theatre will be hosting this notable ballet.

- I remember my mom and I talking about doing this with Ava when she was old enough when she was a little baby – taking Ava to see the Nutcracker.
