Last Saturday my little family and I ventured to the Blossom Kite Festival on the National Mall. This is an annual, cool & family-friendly, and free event that is part of the whole Cherry Blossom Festival celebration. Today I’m bringing you a race recap – remember those?! Yesterday Tommy, our friend Hannah, and I ran the DC Veterans Day 10k put on by Pacers. We all needed a good long run (6.2) miles, but the extra shout out goes to Hannah. She didn’t think she could complete the race, but she finished the race (and didn’t walk!!!!) and stayed on pace with Tommy and me to boot! [Read more…]
