I’m not exactly sure when I became a “runner” as I have been described as. I ran cross-country in high school, and then ran pretty regularly through college, and post college (at least three times a week). I didn’t necessarily do it because I loved running, it was just something active to do that I could do, and sometimes did with friends which made it more enjoyable for sure. Andrea didn’t rain on our 5k parade!
The GWU Alumni Community Outreach and Service Committee’s first running race was a success! Three of the four committee members ran the race (while the fourth member and her fiance cheered us on at the finish line). We also “recruited” another person to run the race with us. [Read more…]
