Hello! Here are some of the things bringing a smile to my face these days.[Read more…]
And just like that, it’s the Tuesday before Memorial Day weekend. Wow, how did that happen folks? Anyone have any fun, quarantine-style plans? I’m working on ours currently.[Read more…]
Ya’ll may remember my glowing review of Tinkergarten, an organization on a mission to elevate childhood, through the outdoor experience. Instructors bring families together in a natural place in their community for classes where kids learn through play. Each class becomes a tight-knit group of children and adults who learn together through well-designed, outdoor play-based activities.[Read more…]
I have to tell you, quarantine or no quarantine, I had a pretty dang good Mother’s Day.
I slept in until 8:20am…8:20am – lets let that sink in folks. I can’t remember the last time I have done that, willingly or unwillingly, but it felt amazing. Once I was up, I was treated to breakfast in bed.[Read more…]

Let’s have that sink in. My first baby is 5. Where oh where did time go? - Happy Cinco De Mayo! Do you have any fun recipes or cocktails you are whipping up for tonight? (Hey – it’s the small things right?) We’ll order dinner from one of our favorite Mexican restaurants and I’ll be making these delicious Spicy Cucumber Margaritas again.

- Find the joy:
- I was in need of finding a softer, gentler washcloth for my face – and one that didn’t leave makeup stains. Enter Weezie Towels. So far I like them and have noticed my face is less irritated.
- What are your plans for Mother’s Day? My family and I will be noshing on Italian deliciousness from Mia’s Italian Kitchen! If you still need a gift for mom, check out this Mother’s Day Bundle! Orders close on Thursday.
Today is our sweet lady’s 5th birthday and you better believe we are partying it up quarantine-style![Read more…]

For me, these purchases have ebbed and flowed and have varied in terms of necessity, things I’ve been wanting, and things to look forward to when it is safe to relax all of the social distancing measures taking place right now. (And don’t include kid purchases).[Read more…]
