After we had our last meal with Katie, Jon, and James at our hotel in Disneyland on Wednesday morning, we loaded up our car and headed to Universal Studios for a few hours. Hello! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.
I had quite the busy weekend myself – a dear friend that lives in Greenwich, Connecticut came to visit for the weekend and we had several other (local) friends come over this weekend to help us continue unpacking and transitioning from our move and eat and drink with us. It was a very productive weekend, that’s for sure!

Hello and Happy Friday from Tucson! (I’m here for a few days for work).
In other travel news, you may remember that Tommy, Ava, and I headed down to Atlanta a couple of weeks ago to visit my brother and his little family. It was a great visit – I loved seeing Ava and her cousins Gabe and Liam play together and interact so well. In my opinion, that it was family is all about and I truly hope all three kids (+ Luke when he arrives!) will continue to have a steady, consistent presence in each other’s lives.
