- It was this guy’s first day back at daycare since early-March.
Saturday in the DMV area really felt like fall had arrived, didn’t it? The sky was a little cloudy and overcast (we had a light drizzle for a little bit, which added to the delightful temperature) and the weather was cool and crisp that you actually needed a light jacket and/or a long-sleeved shirt.
And by some struck of luck, that was the day I decided it would be fun for our family of four to go apple-picking at Hollin Farms! In addition to there be no better way to kick off the fall season (and get excited for pumpkin patches next month), both Ava and Luke have recently rekindled their love affair with red apples, so I figured they would like picking their own red apples.[Read more…]

Ava officially starts elementary school next Tuesday! My sweet, darling baby girl is off to kindergarten. Where has time gone?! And when I say “off to school” I mean downstairs in our soon-to-be makeshift little classroom. Yep – like most of the schools across the country, our elementary school has decided to take the all-virtual approach until further notice.[Read more…]
Add this to the saying “where did time go” – how my Little Man two already?! Even though my kids will always be my babies, it’s very bittersweet knowing that Luke has exited the baby stage of his life. It’s true what they say, in the blink of an eye.
