It’s Tuesday – you know what that means.
Hello! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.
I had quite the busy weekend myself – a dear friend that lives in Greenwich, Connecticut came to visit for the weekend and we had several other (local) friends come over this weekend to help us continue unpacking and transitioning from our move and eat and drink with us. It was a very productive weekend, that’s for sure!
Today I thought it would be fun to share all the places I dined at when I was in Tucson for work last week, especially since I tried several new places that I absolutely adored and will definitely go back to the next time I am there. [Read more…]
Hello and Happy Friday from Tucson! (I’m here for a few days for work).
In other travel news, you may remember that Tommy, Ava, and I headed down to Atlanta a couple of weeks ago to visit my brother and his little family. It was a great visit – I loved seeing Ava and her cousins Gabe and Liam play together and interact so well. In my opinion, that it was family is all about and I truly hope all three kids (+ Luke when he arrives!) will continue to have a steady, consistent presence in each other’s lives.
Here is a photo recap of our long weekend if you’d like to see. [Read more…]

Happy Thursday! And Happy Moving Day to my little family and me!
That’s right – another “secret” I suppose you could say that we’ve been keeping, is that Tommy and I bought/built a house in the same neighborhood we live in currently. I didn’t want to post anything on here until we officially closed (which we did yesterday)! Stay tuned for a recap and house tour coming soon!
Let’s get to the “things that are making me happy lately”.
- Of course Moving Day is number one on this list. 🙂
- Impromptu al fresco dinner with neighbors last night.
- Trying (new-to-me) coffee shops.
- Seeing Ava so happy to be reunited with Dede after her 2-week visit back home to Guatemala.
Last October, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Vietnam and some of my dearest friends. It had been years since I had taken an international trip and I was excited but also a little nervous. It was the trip of a lifetime. After much consideration, below are the top 5 things that I miss about Vietnam. [Read more…]
Happy Tuesday everyone. I’ll just state the obvious – being sick sucks. I caught this coughing and congested bug from Ava and her nanny-share buddy this past weekend and have been basically bed-ridden since Saturday. (No worries – it’s not the flu, but it sucks nonetheless). My humidifier has been a godsend at night. [Read more…]

Last Saturday I was treated to a private tour of Earth Fare, an organic and natural healthy supermarket that was founded in Asheville, North Carolina. Since Asheville’s first store opening in 1975, Earth Fare has grown to 45 stores across 10 states in the Southeast, mid-Atlantic, and Midwest. The latest store opening, #45, is in Fairfax, Virginia (the second in the state). [Read more…]
