I’m hoping that I’m not the only one who has partaken in a little retail therapy escapism from COVID-19 over the past many weeks. For me, these purchases have ebbed and flowed and have varied in terms of necessity, things I’ve been wanting, and things to look forward to when it is safe to relax all of the social distancing measures taking place right now. (And don’t include kid purchases).
Here are a few of the goodies I’ve picked up since beginning to work from home full time.
- Serena and Lily Rivera Counter Stools – I had been coveting these island/bar chairs for years and finally bit the bullet. Every day I am so glad I did – they certainly elevated our kitchen look and are just a dream to look at. (Even when my kitchen is an absolute disaster and causing me to breakout into hives, looking at these chairs always brings a smile to my face).
- Target is my go-to for summer dresses and this year they have really hit it out of the park in my opinion. 1) Tiered Ruffle Dress and 2) Short Sleeve Ruffle Dress
- It’s kind of funny thought I bought this Cuyana tote and some Kate Spade block heels (that have since sold out since they were on sale) right before everything shutdown. I’ve only been able to use both things once, but I’m excited for when I can wear and use these things more!
- Beautiful every day necklace – I am all about supporting as many local businesses as I can. I love Mallory’s jewelry and really felt her pain when she had to close her brick and mortar store near Union Market. She still has an online presence and when I saw this necklace during a flash sale, I immediately purchased it.
Any fun purchases you’ve made?
