Happy Monday ya’ll! Today I thought it would be fun to share a look at our meals, ordered in and cooked, this weekend. Since I normally (even not in the time of COVID-19) try to cook all meals during the week, the weekend is reserved for more takeout (or going out to pre-COVID), along with more home cooked favorites!
Dinner – I had a craving for Chinese food, so we ordered takeout for dinner from Shanghai Peking.
Breakfast – a chef I am working on a collaboration with for Honey & Lavender gave us these delicious scones and jam to try. Spoiler alert: it was all SO GOOD.
Lunch – leftovers from Friday’s Chinese takeout dinner.
Dinner – we grilled out! We had yummy burgers, corn on the cob, and an assortment of potato chips.
Breakfast – I made a broccoli and cheddar quiche. I used this recipe, but simply swapped out the frozen spinach with leftover broccoli florets I had leftover from a dinner I made earlier in the week.
Lunch – I threw together a tuna pasta salad that Ava loves, plus an assortment of fruit, the leftover scones from Saturday’s breakfast, and sparkling lemonade for a picnic tailgate we had at Burnside Farms after picking tulips!
Dinner – big fail….I totally forgot to take photos, but I made this Penne alla Vodka for dinner. It was a hit with everyone, but Ava. Le sigh.
And that was our weekend in meals!
Did you cook anything delicious? I’m always taking suggestions!
