For those that celebrated Easter over the weekend, I hope that despite your celebrations being very different this year, you still had some amazing family and quiet time. I know our family sure did!
Here is a look into our Easter festivities:
The Easter Bunny began his/her work as soon as Ava and Luke were tucked in bed on Saturday night.
Ava was up bright and early at 6am or so on Easter. Poor thing had to wait for little brother to wake up at 7:30am. Then it was egg hunting time!
The Easter Egg Hunt started in the family room.
But pretty soon Ava dominated the hunt!
Then the hunt spilled out into the backyard!
After the hunt and seeing what the Easter Bunny left for them on our kitchen island, Ava and Luke surveyed their goodies.
Then it was time for outdoor play before lunch and quiet/nap time.
Ava colored me a beautiful drawing of tulips drawn by Simply Jessica Marie.
Then daddy made Easter Rice Krispie treats.
An amazing neighbor/friend dropped me off an Easter goodie – my Aperol Spritz kit!
Then we had an amazing dinner provided by the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant.
It was definitely an Easter for the books!
