Hi ya’ll, here we are on – another Monday. How are things going for you? I am going on week number two of working from home full-time, as a result of Covid-19. Here are some things I have learned along the way that have really resonated.
- In the midst of the chaos, anger, and sadness (and inconveniences in my life), I have so much to be thankful for right now. (Stay tuned for another post on this in the future).
- Get dressed everyday, even if it’s leggings and a pullover, to “go to work”. This helps me get into a productive and creative state. And honestly maintains some normalcy pre-Coronavirus.
- Get outside at some point every day, whether it’s a run, to walk your dog or to sit on your front porch. This does my mindset and mood wonders.
- Don’t get sucked into too much social media or news – yes, I absolutely stay current with news, but I make sure to take a break from the doom and gloom and political back-and-forth.
What are some of things you have learned if you are working remotely now?
