Today I wanted to share some of our favorite indoor play places to take the kiddos when inclement weather gets in the way, but we still need to get some energy out of Ava and Luke!
- Flight Fit N Fun – if you asked Ava she would say this is her most favorite place to go and the place she asks to go the most. And who can blame her – who wouldn’t want to bounce on trampolines and slide down slides?! Now that Luke is older, he loves going here too. Perfect activity to do right before nap time!
- Scramble – this is a close second favorite for Ava and Luke. I’m always impressed how big, colorful, and clean this venue is – considering how popular it is. They have sections cordoned off for different ages, so it’s ideal to take both kiddos to because Tommy and I can split off and play with either Luke or Ava here. There is a large maze/obstacle course with several slides, an open area where kiddos can build with large blocks or kick around a soccer ball, and a large soft play area.
- The Little Gym – we have never gone to an open play session here. All of our visits have been for birthday parties, but I’m always so impressed with the venue and large, clean, play area as well. They have a lot of age-appropriate gym equipment for kiddos to climb on and play in, they offer fun songs and games to play, and it’s just a pleasant environment.
- Nook – Nook offers similar physical activities for kids to enjoy – obstacle course, blocks to build with, that type of thing, but I feel like this indoor play venue also focuses on creative craft play. There are markers and crayons and paper galore for kids to create masterpieces. They have a music area where kids can play guitar and sing songs to their hearts content. And they have a large book area that simply invites story time.
