Hello! I wanted to share for this month’s “things that make me happy” some of the purchases I made in preparation for our Christmas trip to Sicily that helped make our first international trip with two kiddos that much more easy and manageable.
- The Zoe “Traveler” stroller. Another parent at Ava and Luke’s school recommended this stroller to me a couple months ago when I was pondering what kind of stroller to bring with us to Italy and I am so glad she did. I cannot say enough amazing things about this stroller. I love that it is so lightweight and compact (it fits in the overhead bin of planes!) and that either Ava or Luke can sit or sleep comfortably in it.
- Ava’s upgraded travel car seat – Safe Traffic System Ride Safer Travel Vest. A friend of ours had bought this for her daughter and raved about it and I was pleased to learn that Ava (finally) reached the weight minimum to be able to use this handy dandy travel car seat. It’s hard to say what Tommy and I loved more on this trip – this car seat or the stroller. Not only is this car seat lightweight and not bulky at all, it is very easy to assemble and super safe for your kiddo to use.
- Leap Pad – we decided to purchase and give this to Ava before our trip so she could entertain herself on the plane, in the car, at restaurants, and pretty much anywhere she wanted to on the trip and we are so glad we did. We all adore this thing and I have to say, I am pretty impressed with the lessons offered on this device.
What are some of the things you all have purchased or used to help with kid travel?
