Happy Hump Day everyone! Hope your Tuesday was a good one. As you may have seen from IG stories, I had a day-long work trip to NYC. I was finally in bed by 12:15am today – so I’m a little tired. 😉
I wanted to share some photos of how we spent the 4th of July last week. While it was rainy for the most part, we were fortunate to get about a 2-hour window of sunshine, which was awesome since we celebrated America’s Independence at a friend’s BBQ and pool party.
Ava (and I) made a cake for the party, that also served as one of our host’s, George’s, birthday cake!
As per the usual, George and Allison were wonderful hosts. Always making sure their guests were well fed.
Take note of the next two pictures, if you will.
Kids had hamburgers and hotdogs, while the adults had steak and lobster. I was in heaven with my lobster(s)!
Ava and Luke were just so happy to be in the water. I swear, they are going to be future little swimmers if their love of swimming right now is any indication! Ava practiced her streamline and had a blast jumping off the diving board.
And of course there had to be cake!
Thanks for having us over Allison and George!
