Last night Tammy and I went to Pappe for the first time on 14th Street for our monthly dinner. (Christina was sick – we missed you!) Pappe opened last summer in Logan Circle and we all had been eager to try this Indian food spot for awhile.
Immediately upon sitting down, I settled on a delicious cocktail while Tammy and I caught up and perused the menu.
We settled on Vegetable Samosas for our appetizer.
And while Pappe isn’t a tapas restaurant at all – one can easily order their own entree, Tammy and I decided to order several dishes to try and share.
Overall the food was pretty good. We loved the samosas and Chicken Tikka Masala. Tammy did think she had better Butter Chicken at other Indian restaurants, but it was still good.
I really liked the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. Despite it being in a small space, it felt airy and I loved the vibrant colors in the restaurant.
I would definitely come back here whenever I was in the mood for Indian!
