Happy Thursday folks!
Today I am thrilled to share with you photos of Luke’s Nursery. Done in the nick of time – considering his due date is August 24th. 🙂 I say this is the final-ish product, because if you know me at all, I’m never satisfied with anything and am constantly making tweaks as I see fit along the way, but this is pretty much how I envisioned Luke’s room to be when Tommy and I settled on a “nautical-Maine” theme for the nursery.
Without further ado:

The view from his bedroom door. Carpet from Target.

A collection of cards that Luke has received, the door to his closet, and a super cute lobster print I got from Etsy.

I got this wall print from Wallfry on Etsy.

We got his dresser and changing table topper from Wayfair, the stuffed whale shark, and cute navy blue and white baskets were gifted.
My friend Sarah sent this adorable Luke print as a gift.
This fish net was part of Luke’s Baby Shower decorations that I thought would be perfect to repurpose in the nursery as a wall-hanging. The red thing in the basket is a crab rattle someone gifted to us. If I have time, I may hit up a Michael’s store to see if I can find any fish/Marine cutouts to place in the net for a more visual effect.
I foresee many sittings and feedings here in this little nook!

We got his glider from Buy Buy Baby, the blank basket from Target, and the Nautical Lobster pillow was gifted to us from LemonDaisy at Etsy.
The print below was gifted to us years ago from some friends that saw it at a flea market and thought Tommy would like it since it was a Maine scene from a local harbor. How perfect for Luke’s room, right?!

I got his lamp from HomeGoods, the sailboat model was also part of the decorations our good friend Arlene used for Luke’s Baby Shower, and I have had the grey bookshelf for years. I think I got it from Joss & Main several years ago when we still lived in Chesapeake Beach. The adorable whale bookends were also a purchase from HomeGoods.
And there you have it! One other addition I may do, is find a cute name sign from Pottery Barn Kids for Luke that I also bought for Ava’s room.
Note: We do have a bassinet and a crib (Ava’s that she is currently using still + adorable Pottery Barn Kids bedding we were gifted for Luke that isn’t pictured here) for Luke. The reason why you see Ava’s travel pack and play in here is because this is where Maeve sleeps (the little girl we do a nanny share with).
We hope you love your nursery Lukey!
