Hello! Hope everyone had a great Halloween! Mine was spent trick-or-treating in perfect, cool, crisp fall weather with Minnie Mouse, a train conductor, and a bumble bee, followed by giggles and laughs as neighbors dropped by our house and other trick-or-treaters came for their loot.
Still coasting off the spirit of Halloween, I thought I’d share Ava’s Minnie Mouse costume and some photos from last night. Enjoy!

Black cardigan, skirt and bow from Etsy, silver shoes (similar), and black tights.
Considering Ava’s age (TODDLER), I wanted to make sure her costume was something she could identify and fall in love with, that it was pretty simple to make/coordinate, but still dramatic and effective. I think we did pretty good this year!
As a 2.5 year old I feel that Ava is just at the age where she understands how Halloween works – you wear a costume and you walk to neighbors houses and they give you candy! It was really cute to see her and all her friends running around, collecting their goodies, saying “next house” after just getting candy from a house, and then refusing to let their parents help them carry their buckets of treats when they were clearly struggling. Tommy and I have decided that we’re definitely dressing up with Ava next year!
