I know I’m not the first person to say how it’s hard to believe this year’s Christmas has come and gone already and that we’ll be ringing in 2017 this coming weekend – but it is so true!
This year’s Christmas was wonderful and special because we kept it simple. While we missed going to Maine to visit Tommy’s side of the family (our original Christmas plan), about two months ago we decided to spend Christmas at our house and just chill. Each member of our little family had been busy traveling for various purposes throughout the year, especially towards the end, so the idea of not driving, flying, or packing for the Christmas holidays was very appealing to us. Happy Christmas Eve EVE ya’ll!!! I honestly can’t believe Christmas is this weekend. I got myself into some Christmas spirit this morning before work – I wrapped some presents in our attic. 🙂

Somehow when I decided last night that I was going to go for a run the next morning (today) I knew bigger and better things were on the horizon…or at the very least, I would need to start seriously training stat in the coming months.
