Hello and Happy Hump Day!
A couple of weekends ago my little family, me, and my dad, who was in town for the weekend visiting, did a quick and easy 45-minute photo shoot around Old Town Alexandria. Tis the time of year to take photos to use for holiday cards and Christmas presents. 🙂
Unfortunately we were unable to use the wonderful photographer we used last year – Nancy Wiley – because we were still in Atlanta for Thanksgiving when she was doing her mini-holiday sessions in town. 🙁
However, through my local neighborhood list serv, I found Abigail to take our photos this year and she was a delight!
Here are some of my favorites:
We took a few shots along the waterfront in Old Town Alexandria. It was chilly and windy that day!

On me: dress from Athleta, Burberry scarf, similar, Frye boots, similar / On Tommy: dress shirt from Mizzen + Main, JCrew pullover, similar, 7 For All Mankind jeans
Tommy, of course, loves this photo of him and Ava. 🙂 (Pardon my jacket being used as a blanket for Ava). Poor baby, her teeth were chattering.
Then we moved our little shoot into the Torpedo Factory.
Abigail is a sophomore at Syracuse University and has been doing photography seriously for the past 7 years. We loved the locations Abigail chose for our photos, as well as her cheery and laid back demeanor. We were so happy her being back for the Thanksgiving holiday worked with our schedule!
If you’re looking for a wonderful, friendly, and professional photographer Abigail is your gal.
Thanks Abigail!
