I was so proud of Christina and me. On Monday we woke up and did what we needed to do – went for a run! She beat me in the ambitious arena by running 12 miles (she is in the midst of training for a marathon) compared to my 5 miles, but you know. 🙂 [Read more…]

Christina and I started our Sunday with brunch at an old standby, Founding Farmers.
While I used to go here for dinner all the time when I was in graduate school at GWU (The George Washington University), I hadn’t been back here for a few years. The last time Christina was in town (two years ago) she raved about brunch here, particularly their Bloody Marys, so I thought it only fitting we eat here during her visit. [Read more…]
After Christina and I carried on our ritual of giving each other back massages while watching Sex and the City for an hour or so after we got home from Georgetown, she, Tommy and I made our way to Cashion’s Eat Place for dinner. I had invited five other friends to join us for a night out in Adam’s Morgan (the original plan being we would eat dinner at Cashion’s and then hit a couple of bars nearby.
