So I turned 30 yesterday. It was a wonderful day, appropriately ending with a wonderful night!
Tommy and I went to Bibiana, an award-winning Italian restaurant, for my birthday dinner. We had a great time!! The food was delicious and the decor and ambiance were perfect. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful in assisting us with our culinary choices. [Read more…]
1) Tommy, Violet and I went to Great Falls Park in Virginia this past Sunday. It was a perfect morning for a little hiking with our baby. 🙂 If we had had more time here, I would have packed a picnic lunch for us to enjoy as there were tons of picnic tables throughout the park’s trails. Andrea didn’t rain on our 5k parade!
The GWU Alumni Community Outreach and Service Committee’s first running race was a success! Three of the four committee members ran the race (while the fourth member and her fiance cheered us on at the finish line). We also “recruited” another person to run the race with us. [Read more…]

The race organizers sent us an email earlier this evening telling us that as of now the race was still on, but that they would be monitoring the weather very closely. We will know if the race is definitely on by 5am tomorrow. [Read more…]

This past weekend Tommy and I attended my sweet friend Lara’s wedding in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. A little past Philly. It was beautiful to say the least. The venue was perfect and picturesque for the couple, the food was delicious, and the bride and groom just exuded pure excitement and happiness in the afternoon and late into the night. [Read more…]
