Summer Go-to – Mediterranean Orzo Salad
Summer is almost upon us! Among the many things that means for me (flip flops, happy hours on the patio, sundresses, laying by the pool – the list could go on and on), it also means my homemade Mediterranean Orzo Salad makes several appearances! [Read more…]
Date Night – Iron Man 3
Monthly date night is alive and well! Last month as you may remember Tommy and I dined at Kushi. This month we went with another traditional date night standby, going to a movie! It was Tommy’s turn to head up date night this month and he took note of all my hints… [Read more…]
Tuesday Tidbits – 31

Gatehouse Bed and Breakfast
Tommy and I stayed at the Gatehouse Bed & Breakfast in Annapolis this past weekend. It was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. I thought the owners, a husband and wife, were very nice and helpful. The property, a town home, with 5 bedrooms, was beautiful. It was just steps away from the Naval Academy. [Read more…]

Navy Town, here we come!
Before driving to Annapolis on Saturday, I woke up a little earlier than usual to knock out running 6 miles with my friend Katie per my half marathon training plan. We started our run at my place and then headed over to the tidal basin, ran around the tidal basin, run up to the Capitol and then ended back at my place. It felt really good to get the run out-of-the-way and I was very grateful Katie was such a good sport about running so early in the morning! [Read more…]
